"The problem of digitizing a text document for storage in a information retrieval system the museum"
The article deals with the problem of digitizing full-text documents stored in the collections of the Museum of Children's Movement,in order to include them in the database created by the information retrieval system to enable the museum's full-text search of information on these documents, as well as automatic processing of these documents for research purposes.
The existing solutions are available to most users through the Internet. It is shown that none of the existing solutions can not cover all the needs of information retrieval system.
The choice of the basic methods to develop the format for storing digitized documents has been explained. The main trends of development have been determined.
